Richard Oakes is a full-time artist living and working in Gosport, Hampsire. He studied Fine Art at Portsmouth University where he gained a BA Hons Degree in 2005.

Whilst pen and ink watercolours are his chosen medium, Richard has recently started to use acyrilc on canvas to create large, colourful paintings.

Richard also paints murals both on his own and with fellow local artist Dan Williams. This is something they love doing, and they are able to create any scene; from cartoon characters to The Last Supper!
